Photographing MyPLACE

From June to December 2010, the MyPLACE segment of The Peoplestown Project worked with middle grades and high school students, using photography to explore overlapping themes of self, community, and civic life. With the children enrolled in Emmaus Houses’s Summer Arts Camp, we studied visual composition and used digital photography to document and interpret our lives and the Peoplestown community.
